It all began with a couple of ambitious newlyweds, a small Apple Blossom celebration and their home kitchen! Following the great success of that event, they flourished, catering for various occasions including weddings, birthday parties and corporate dinners.

The Catering Company has grown to be a local go-to for catering events! Their accomplished chefs pride themselves on providing outstanding food and service at every event! Their administrative team will help you from the beginning of your planning process up to the end of your event! They are a great resource for all your event needs!

Meet Our Team

Owner/Chef

Nick Santmier

Founder and CEO, Nick Santmier, is a noteworthy Executive Chef since 2017. He began his culinary journey at Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Culinary Arts Program. Upon graduating in 2015, Nick completed a highly sought-after internship at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina. His passion and success was seen from afar, landing him a position at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. It wasn’t long before others in the area took notice of Nick’s success; he was quickly promoted to Executive Chef at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. In 2020, he began his journey as the owner of The Catering Company.

Office Manager

Angie Gaudette

Angie began her career with The Catering Company in 2020. She has extensive experience in Office Management and assisting clients with their event planning needs. Angie spends a lot of her time answering emails, writing contracts and taking phone calls. Our clients love her for your calm and informative nature. Event planning can be stressful, and our clients are thankful to have Angie in their corner.

Head Catering Chef

Adam Hernandez

Adam came onto The Catering Company's team at a time of major transition, we were moving locations and working on large contracts. Adam's ability to adapt and serve regardless of the circumstances has been nothing short of amazing. Adam is a noteworthy chef with a beautiful resume including titles like Sous Chef and Catering Chef. Adam's experience in the field has been crucial in the growth of the company. Adam works hard to create the best food every time he enters the kitchen. Adam not only creates amazing dishes, but he also serves his clients with the utmost respect and kindness.

Event Staff Leader

Elena Rodriguez

Elena has been with The Catering Company almost since the beginning and has, as of 2023, taken a full-time position within the company. Elena is organized, communicative and works hard. She leads her events in a calm and concise manner that promotes an amazing experience for our clients every time.

Catering Chef

Joe

Joe came to The Catering Company in early 2023 and has been a great part of the team. He primarily manages our large, daily contracts. Joe is meticulous in his preparation for the deliveries! Joe also assists at weekend events along with the rest of the team. He is a helpful hand in all situations. Joe’s previous experience in the industry, ability to adapt and learn make him a wonderful addition to the team.

Social Media Manager

Sara Santmier

Sara is our social media manager at The Catering Company. She is also Nick's wife and co-owner. Sara works diligently to promote The Catering Company, so that we can serve as much of our community as possible. Sara has a passion for beautiful food photos and videos that showcase the essence of The Catering Company.
