It all started with two eager newlyweds, a modest Apple Blossom celebration, and a humble home kitchen. What began as a small passion project quickly skyrocketed after the event’s incredible success. Before long, they were catering everything from weddings and birthday parties to corporate dinners.
Today, The Catering Company has become the local go-to for unforgettable events. With a team of talented chefs dedicated to delivering exceptional food and service, every event is sure to be a hit. Owner/ Chef
Nick Santmier
Founder and CEO of The Catering Company, is a powerhouse in the culinary world. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Culinary Arts Program, he quickly made his mark with a prestigious internship at Pinehurst Resort. His rising talent landed him roles at Shenandoah University and Marymount University, where he was promoted to Executive Chef. In 2020, Nick took the plunge into entrepreneurship, launching The Catering Company and bringing his passion for exceptional food and service to new heights.
Office Manager
Angie Gaudette
Angie brought her expertise to The Catering Company in 2020 and quickly became an essential part of the team. With a solid background in office management and a keen eye for event planning, she effortlessly juggles emails, contracts, and calls. Her calm, collected nature and knack for guiding clients through the planning process make her a standout. When the stress of event planning starts to mount, our clients breathe easy knowing Angie’s got their back—making every step feel smooth and effortless.

Adam Hernandez
Adam joined The Catering Company during a time of big change, and his ability to adapt on the fly has been nothing short of impressive. With a stellar resume as Sous Chef and Catering Chef, he’s been pivotal to our growth. Adam’s passion for creating exceptional dishes is matched only by his unwavering respect and kindness toward clients. Whether in the kitchen or in service, his dedication to excellence is always on display.
Event Lead
Rigo Candelario
Since joining us in 2023 as a Catering Lead, Rigo has been a key part of our team. After coming on full-time in Thanksgiving 2024, he expanded his role beyond events, stepping into the kitchen and taking on new cooking responsibilities. His dedication and versatility continue to make a big impact.

Sara Santmier
Sara, our dynamic social media manager and co-owner of The Catering Company, is the creative force behind our vibrant online presence. As Nick’s wife, she’s not just invested in the business—she’s passionate about bringing our vision to life for the community. With a keen eye for beautiful food photos and videos, Sara captures the heart and soul of The Catering Company, making sure our essence shines through every post. Thanks to her, we’re able to connect with even more people and share the magic of our culinary creations!
